On the Healing Workshop you will learn to reconnect with nature, and channel the energies of Earth Mother energy to heal. Our focus being predominantly upon reconnection with our ancient heritage, affording a better understanding of self and thus facilitating self healing. You will learn about lithics and their vibrational messages of well being; how to choose, cleanse, programme and heal.

Take black material, or dark blue, green or brown, and hand sew a little draw string bag, with each stitch say your intent, make a little two liner to say i.e. “Epona your help I need May ………… from pain be freed.” Or “Come Epona empower my spell Make…………..healed and well” You make the content, and the rhyme so it can encompass whatever you wish. When the sewing is done the bag is ready. You can place it on the altar for when it is needed. In Ritual space cast your circle, and call upon Epona to join you. Look to the East, feel the breeze on your face, imagine you are on a horse riding, racing to great the dawn as it is born on the horizon, feel the speed and power of the equine beneath you, feel Her with you, She is your Horse, as Goddess to the Celts She was both woman and Horse. When you can feel Her presence continue- now place inside your bag a signator of the person who needs to be helped and healed (photo, handwriting, hair, nails, blood etc.) and three ivy leaves, and a piece of white welsh quartz, also put in a piece of rhodonite, any other healing crystals that you have gathered and feel will help them. Now face East and call up Epona again saying. “Come swift one, with all your mighty power, gallop into the life of ……….and take their illness far away. I thank you”. Place the bag on the altar. Close the circle. The bag needs now to be hung at an East facing window for Epona to take as she rides through the sky at dawn, every dawn. The Celts believed that if Epona took and held their illness throughout each day, it would never be able to catch up with them. Blessed Be. Talog Witch
Get comfortable where you know you will not be disturbed. If weather permitting this can be outdoors; lay on your sun lounger on the patio, lawn, or beach. The sun and its noon position will enhance your ritual but remember when using this enormous energy to stay safe with an umbrella, shady tree, or sunscreen. Indoors is also adequate, put yourself by a window or in a conservatory so that the sunlight is maximized. In choosing three stones I personally pick a dark (black to receive the negativity), a medium (brown the colour of fertile earth to hold all my positive intent) and a light (white to hold all my hopes), but if need must then improvise, just be sure you know each one’s identity. Caress them and communicate, for they need to be informed of their purpose. Hold each in turn saying to it: “Be cleansed of all past memories. Work now only with me.” Then take stone no.1 and say, “I charge you now with the task of storing the negativities I place in your safe keeping.” Then repeat for stone no.2, but charge it with the task of “storing my offerings of good intent; recompense, and amendments”. Then finally repeat for stone N.3 and charge it with “storing all my hopes for positivity in the future.” Now place the stones over your heart (if laying down then they will rest safely in one’s cleavage) and cast a simple mental circle, to create your sacred space, ‘a world within worlds’; then take stone no.1, hold it over your third eye, touching your forehead, in your minds eye see a flow of light between your forehead and your stone when this corridor of energy feels established rest it, whilst still holding, above your head. Now speak your negativity, and make sure it is the truth, the whole truth, with no strategic bits edited out, no matter how bad it gets; name it and shame it, only then can the wheel of improvement begin to turn. Do not cease cleansing until all matters have been dealt with. When you have finished say: “Stone within you imprison my negativity, Keep it ever more away from me” Bring your arm down from over your head, to your side, so that you can put the stone away from you, temporarily onto the ground next to your lounger. It then no longer has physical contact, and nor does your negativity. Take stone no.2, repeat as before, establish your energy channel, and rest your raised hand above your head, then say: “Goddess let this stone bear witness to my desire to make amends” Now again with truth and a firm grasp on reality state the ways in which you feel you will be able to correct, or at least help to correct your errors. When you have finished say: “Stone enhance my good intent, and hold it safe within, From this moment onwards let my amends begin.” Take stone no.3, repeat as before and again establish your energy channel, then say: “Goddess let this stone bear witness to my hopes for the future.” This is now your chance to share all the hope, inspiration and optimism within you, remembering that a witch never expects, and never assumes. Yet she hopes with every fibre of her being, trusting implicitly in Divine assistance knowing that the Goddess empowers her intent. When you have finished say: “Stone bear witness to my good intent, May the future, by my will be bent.” Place stone’s 2 & 3 safe in your handbag until you can place them on your altar. Finally stone no.1 needs to be touched as little as possible. Take a cotton hanky and pick it up. Now you must dispose of it as far away as possible, off a cliff into the sea, buried deep in the beach sand; or discarded within forestry, or into a river, or marsh. Stones 2 & 3 are positive so place them in a special place in your home, or garden; after several years you will have many of them! I use white welsh quartz and put it around my garden as adornment to the garden path edges. “Why Are We Waiting?” (This spell calls upon the Germanic and Nordic Goddess Hel, the daughter of Loki, and the giantess Angrboda, She is the Queen of the ‘underworld’, who takes the spirits of the valiant heroes to Valhalla. Hel is often depicted as a half black, half white woman, or a phantom she-wolf.) This spell calls upon Hel to come and rescue these terminally ill, or extremely aged individuals who find themselves trapped within their now greatly ailing human body, and to bear them joyfully home. Dress your altar, and yourself in blue, and make the 4 quarters with blue candles (blue is used for a peaceful passing over). Use the scent of essential oil of juniper or fennel, or burn a braid of sweet grass, for purification and peace. Place on your altar the names or photos of any specific people who you know that need this help. (In the absence of a statue of Hel, or a wolf, improvise- cut out a picture of a Goddess woman, draw a line vertically to divide her into two halves then decorate her, one half black, one half white, maybe place a wolf at her side. You could do all this with computer graphics if you are thus talented or collage if not.) Cast your circle saying: “Spirits of the East, breath of life, upon this mortal plain, come join me. Spirits of the South, truth of the beating heart within, come join me. Spirits of the West, water in blood, coursing through mortal veins, come join me. Spirits of the North, the Earth beneath, come join me.” “Time now stands still within this sacred space, where in asking one receives……... Now sit and smell the sea breeze, it will be gentle at first, like a summer day, hear the gentle lapping of calm waves, and imagine you are sitting on the seashore, or paddling. Notice that gradually the light is slowly fading, dusk is upon you, and by now the sea has lost its calmness and is getting fiercer. The waves build into a storm, the moon rises, the wind and rain lash at you, Yet still you hold you vigil. Feel the power of nature, ever watching and waiting for the wondrous wave that will bear Hel. As you feel the storm gathering, fuel the waves with your intent, make them to grow. Keep working on this, build the storm, even thunder and lightening; then when you feel you are all but exhausted say…… “Come seas of life flood over me, Come storm waves gather a great tsunami. Bear gracious Hel from Valhalla’s domain, upon high waters, unto this mortal plain. In mercy may She visit all who so patiently wait, on the banks of Styx, or Peter’s Gate. Rescue them, bringing release, from suffering may they know peace; In Goddess mercy set them free. I ask this by the power of three, and all the love there is in me; As I will so mote it be.” As you watch and wait an enormous wave breaks over you and carries you in its depths, the momentum sends you tumbling, spinning, helpless, drowning…..do not struggle, surrender, let it carry you… You land washed up on the shore of a beautiful place, and as you walk through the waves up the beach you are exhausted but feel at peace, content upon the warm golden sands you fall sleep. As you sleep you are aware that many others also arrive out of the sea, and walk on inshore out of sight. You do not try and follow, you know that it is not for you- yet.
