Let me introduce myself, I’m Allison also known as the Talog Witch, the Seer of Talog; please just call me Al.

It is I who will guide you upon the Goddess aspect of your journey, for though you may have traveled many physical miles to be with us your true destination lies within; the true journey is an inner one of enlightenment and self discovery, so aptly likened by our ancestors to a labyrinth, and encoded within Arthurian legend as the seeking of self worth, and the quest for the Holy Grail.

As your mentor I will Share with you my knowledge of the ancients, teaching and giving advice; your will find that with newfound knowledge much of life's problems will seem clearer as the Amazon within you awakens, and you come to know self empowerment.

During your stay with us you will learn to make and dress a sacred altar, make ritual tools (a wand and set of witch’s runes, also a witch bottle ), prepare and celebrate the ritual of Sisterhood, and journey to find your animal totem.  You will learn how to unburden the spirit of negativity and self cleanse, to dedicate and attune your tools, and you will learn to read the runes for yourself;

I will also read your tarot cards for you.

Above all we will enjoy sisterhood, and grow together in the Goddess.

Learning experiences will take place over 3 days in Mid Wales. We will chose beautiful accommodations in or near the Brecon Beacons National Park where we can be together and grow together.

Learning - The Witch Way

When learning there is one very important factor you must remember about a witch, she is a wise woman and will do whatever she does in HER own way. That is to say the way that works for her. We witches know there is no right way and no wrong way, just the one that suits and works for each individual, and provided it harms no-one all is acceptable.

Blessings Bowl.

- Here is my concept of the 'Blessings Bowl'

Firstly it can be any container of any organic medium, pottery, wood, basket, metal glass, crystal etc., but it has to be one that hold meaning (wisdom, ancestry, heritage, inspiration, love) for you as an individual; in short it speaks to you that it wants to work with you. You may find it at whilst rummaging at a Car Boot Sale or Charity Shop, it may be pottery made by one of your children, or a family heirloom, it matters not.

Having indentified it you need to cleans it, bless it and attune it to its purpose... which means in plain language that you take hold of it whilst you are in a sacred circle, hold it close to your heart and say.

"I cleanse you of all past memories"

(It is always good to say every command three times to truly focus the intent.)

Then still holding it, raise it up to the Goddess and say:
"Gracious Goddess it is my desire that this bowl become my focus for blessing, healing and helping humanity. Please may all whom I place within know your benevolence and love; may they be helped and blessed in the manner they most need and deserve. Gracious Goddess I thank you."

The job is done, place Blessing Bowl on your altar and start to fill, as and when....
 
Now you are ready to go....... Every time someone needs your help, take a signator (photo, writing, hair, nails etc.) of them and put it in the basket. I find it useful to ask for a photo, print on the reverse their details, along with their problems and the desired help.

Now every time you cast a circle and spend a moment at your altar take a few minutes to 'remember' the Blessing Bowl. Say a few words these can be as simple:
 "Goddess please look kindly upon all in my Blessing Bowl"
OR if there’s time :
"Gracious Goddess thank you on behalf of all whom I have placed in your care and that you have helped, and are still helping, may they remain ever blessed. This I ask of you in love, in trust, and with every fiber of my intent; Mother be bounteous with your blessings." Remember you can also place yourself in your bowl, use signators for your needs i.e. hazel nuts for wisdom, acorns for home protection; a tiny bear for your loved ones personal protection, coinage or note for financial aid; a musical instrument if there is an exam a tiny toy car for driving.
